Ha! Blogging. Never tried it before, I doubt many will follow it as nothing exraordinary has happened to me as of yet, but this way, followers will be the first to find out should it. First ever blog, and I've not a lot to report. I had an beautiful day strolling around the Castle Grounds where I live admiring the clothing at a Steampunk Convention. Sat and drew, tried out charcoal for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the day, although looked like a chimney-sweep when I was done, so I probably fitted in quite well. I should probably make an effort of the cliche of introducing myself and telling a little about myself, right?
Well, here goes. I'm Amy, 14 currently and just starting the first year of some GCSE's, although I'd much rather be taking my A levels, to be purely honest. I'm one of those people who plans ahead. I have no time for a childhood, never did go out and play when I was little, but sat in solitary away from direct sunlight! I work pretty darned hard at school, I always have, but my hobbies include reading, art, dressmaking and decorative sewing, I adore music although have no particular musical talent (am a terrible Guitar and Pianist, and amature choir singer), but I am eclectic in taste. Classical to Rock, there will be a little bit of it all, although I'm not one for modern dance or Rn'B, infact I dispise it.
That's another point about me, I have indavidual opinions and voice them frequently and passionately, which either amuses or irritates others (annoying for me since I am always totally sincere in delivery, and it's usually irritates), but it's part of me. I always have my views and I am philosophical, always have something to think, and I never stop reaching further into the caverns of my mind and world to find answers, even where there are none or no need for one.
I've always been a complex fellow(ette) and I take pleasures in things others can't understand, but that's mainly just people my age.
Right, well that appears to be the introduction over with. I take it it's plain sailing and less waffle now, so I will continue down the 'set-up process' to complete the little burst of me.
